My March Fab Bag - 2015

March 22, 2015

I was really excited to get the March Fab Bag in the mail because I saw the pictures of the bag on the website and on twitter and it was hot pink with a Coco Chanel quote on it. I was sold right then! ( Yes I am absolutely capable of spending on 5 products just for the bag)
I wasn't sure of what products I would be getting but I decided to give it a try anyway.

My Fab Bag

The stalker that I am, I already had a fair idea of what to expect in my bag but I was really surprised when I saw that some of the products I got haven't been featured by anyone anywhere so I was really pumped about that!

My Fab Bag

Products No:1 The Palladio Lipstick in Meadow Sweet

The Ad on the website and a lot of pictures showed a shimmery reddish coloured lipstick but I was glad I got this shade because I can be very picky with the kind of red I wear. I usually don't experiement a lot with shimmery lipsticks. The one I got is a beautiful rosy nude colour which is perfect for everyday and it is a matte cream texture which I love. It also felt moisturizing when I tried it on. I don't really gravitate toward shades like these so it was a new addition to my collection. I always go for browny nudes and a little paler ones which give the runway concealer lip look that matches with my skintone.

Product No 2 : INVEDA BB Cream in Fair.

This shade matches exactly with my Loreal BB Cream Gold shade that I use on an everyday basis. I got the shade right.I love the slight sandalwood scent that it has. I still have to try it out properly to see if it suits my skin because I do have sensitive skin. I swatched it on my hand and rubbed it in. It  looked like it has a very sheer finish with a slight glow and the bonus SPF20 protection. Great product for the humid summers.

Product No 3 : Sebastian Volupt Conditioner

This is another product I'm excited to try. It has a lovely smell and the texture looks like it is runny and not too creamy. It is a volume enhancer which is the only thing I look for when I'm buying hair products. I am not very fond of creamy conditioners that weigh my hair down but this will be a great product to try. I will probably do a review on this one once I've tried it out a couple of times.

Product No 4 : Soul Tree Kajal

This looked like a nice staple kajal to have in my collection. I'm only sad about the fact that they didn't send me any other colour because the swatches of this range look oh so gorgeous. I really want the navy blue or copper. Every woman already owns a solid black kohl liner so it would be  really cool if they sent a coloured one to try out.

Product No 5 : Fashionography Jewellery

This one was my second favourite item after the conditioner because I love stud earrings especially cute ones with rhinestones and bows. I'm happy I got this one instead of the bracelet a lot of people got. I'm going to put these on and wear them on a daily basis now. SO HAPPY with this one!

I hope you enjoyed seeing what's in my Fab Bag!

Lotus Herbals Ecostay Kajal Review

March 8, 2015

Kohl is an extremely important part of a woman's makeup routine. The reason most Indian women go for higher end eyeliners is because the lower end ones always smudge, smear and make us look like raccoons by the end of the day. This is the first time that I've discovered a pencil Kajal that keeps looking awesome and pitch black even after the rest of my makeup has worn off. I have only put my faith in roll up kohl liners or gel liners to stay throughout the day without smudging but this pencil liner has changed the entire scenario. I am reaching for this one each and every day.

Lotus Herbals Ecostay Kajal

Quantity : 1.2 grams

Price : Rs 325

Pros:

1. Waterproof, Smudgeproof and Long Lasting.

2. Stays on for 12 hours on me and I have watery eyes.

3. It doesn't irritate my contact lenses.

4. The colour is intense black.

5. Creamy consistency and easy to create a smokey eye look.

6. Much cheaper than other long lasting Kohl liners of the same kind.

Cons:

1. It has to be sharpened frequently and doesn't have an included sharpener.

That's all!

What I wore to an Ed Sheeran Concert

March 5, 2015

Hey lovely people!

Ed Sheeran came to India for the very first time and obviously I jumped in line to get my hands on the tickets the minute I heard of it.  This concert faced some really controversial weather where we were almost unsure whether it would be happening at all. The weather suddenly went all gloomy two days before the concert with heavy showers and it looked like it was going to rain on the concert day too. Fortunately it didn't rain and it was one of the best concerts ever, at least in Mumbai. Ed Sheeran also said how he heard it was supposed to rain that day but he had stocked up on some songs if it rains. It was a lot of fun, people sang along to ALL of the lyrics and Ed Sheeran also wore a Kurta on stage and an Indian Flag on his microphone. I can now go on with my life peacefully with no regrets. ( Ha! Almost)

So this is the outfit I wore to the concert:

OOTD
Boxy Sweatshirt : Forever 21
Skirt : Ginger
Sunglasses and Phone Cover : Thrifted
Shoes : Ginger
Sling Bag : Forever 21

However, I had to ditch my sandals for my comfy, old, trustworthy Converse and also because they're red and they went pretty well with my outfit!
